
Proposed Project total: $113 million
After months of facility tours and campus needs assessments, the Facility Needs Committee made a recommendation to the Kilgore ISD Board of Trustees for new construction and renovations. These projects address issues of aging facilities, infrastructure, capacity and academic functionality.

Proposition A: $109 million
For the purpose of acquiring land, and the design, construction and renovation of Kilgore ISD facilities, earmarked to include:
- Chandler Elementary School renovations and construction to include energy and efficiency upgrades to HVAC, windows, LED lighting, replace roof and drop down ceiling and construction of a new PE gym.
- New Kilgore High School to replace the current high school originally constructed in 1932 while incorporating portions of the existing campus in the new design.

Proposition B: $4 million
For the purpose of design, improvement and upgrades earmarked to include:
- R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium renovation addressing ADA (American with Disability Act) issues, along with seating, restroom, entrance, concession and field usage.
